Girls Program

New to hockey

The coop is agreement that SLPYHA and Centennial youth hockey have so we can provide girls teams for our players.   It's important for development and growing the game that girls can play on a team of the players of the appropriate age and skill level.

The coop starts at the U8 level.   The covers a wide range of age and grades.     Typically its grades 1-3 and for players with at least 1 year of experience in organized hockey.    New players start in the Panther Cub or Mite D programs for the first year.

More detail and information will be shared very soon.

Registration Update

23-24   Discount Code at CYHA is:   SLPcoop

SEE LINK BELOW for detailed instructions

Registration for the girls will work just as it has in the past.   You will register with SLPYHA and Centennial associations.   Payments and volunteering are the important aspects of registering with   SLPYHA.    CYHA registration is important to roster the players and use Sportsengine scheduling.   Alternative options for registration were considered but ultimately to many compromises would have to be made.

Use the instruction PDF to register with Centennial,  this if very important.  You do not pay registration,  volunteer or  provide documents to Centennial youth hockey.

NEW for 2022 tryouts:    I tryout fee has been implemented at the top U8, U10 and U12 levels.     Choose the A team at registration and you will see this fee in your cart.       YOU PAY THIS TO CYHA AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION.

Thanks
