Spring Lake Park Youth Hockey

2009-2010 Volunteer Requirements

The key to SLPYHA success is the hardwork and dedication of the volunteers. The requirements for this years hockey season are:

Each family will be required to submit a $250 volunteer deposit check.
The check will be returned if volunteer requirements are completed by April 1, 2010.
Each family (Mite and Traveling) will complete 11 hours per skater, max of 22 hours per family.
Traveling families will no longer be required to work hours at the Panther Classic in addition to their volunteer hours. Panther Classic hours are included in the 11 hours required.
Families will be able to select their volunteer tasks online. You will know immediately which shift you selected

Below is a list of the general categories of volunteer tasks which are required to make the program successful. Other opportunities will be posted as the need arises.

Need a Pin Number?:

Each family will be assigned one Pin Number that they will use for as many years as they have players playing for the association. Once you have requested a Pin Number, and one has been assigned, you cannot be assigned another number. If you have previously been assigned a Pin Number, and have forgotten that number, Click Here to have your Pin Number emailed to you. If you still need a Pin Number, and one has not yet been assigned to your family, Click Here and complete the form to request a Pin Number. Please note that you must have an email address to submit a Pin Number.

To Volunteer for a Tournament or Scheduled Event:

Select the desired Event from the drop-down box.
Enter your Family Last name and your Pin Number.
Click the Request Opportunities button. This displays all posted volunteer positions for the selected tournament.
Find the position, date and time for which you want to volunteer. Click on Volunteer?.
Adjust your name if required and click on Submit Request.
You will receive a confirming email that will contain the details of the opportunity you are now committed to.
