The C/SLP co-op is an agreement that the Spring Lake Park Youth Hockey Association and the Centennial Youth Hockey Association have so we can provide a quality hockey program for girls interested in playing hockey. The co-op allows us to develop and grow the game, as well as being able to provide teams at the appropriate age and skill level for all players.

The co-op starts at the 8U level and is an alternative option for girls who are  currently playing mites hockey with boys. Typically, players with 1 year of experience in organized hockey will succeed at this level. Girls interested in playing hockey but who haven't skated before should start in the Panther Cubs program or a Learn to Skate course before joining organized hockey.

Tryout dates for the 2025/2026 season are below. 

12U Goalies: 9/24 – 10/2

12U Skaters: 9/27 – 10/2

10U Goalies: 10/2 – 10/7

10U Skaters: 10/3 – 10/7

Please note: Registration deadline and tryout dates for 8U and 15U will be available at a later date.

Please note: The registration deadline for traveling teams in the co-op at the 10U and  12U levels is 8/3 for both SLPYHA and CYHA. The registration deadline for 8U  is 9/4 for both SLPYA and CYHA. The registration deadline for 15U has not been set yet.

Registration for the girls will work just as it has in the past. You will register with SLPYHA and CYHA. Payments and DIBS volunteering responsibilities are why you register with SLPYHA.  CYHA registration is so the player can be rostered and included in SportsEngine scheduling and communications.

Spring Lake Park skaters do not pay registration, volunteer or provide documents to CYHA.
